Calvary Cemetery, in anticipation of its 150th anniversary, will be hosting a series of tours this fall.  All tours will begin at 10am and will last about one hour; no reservations are required.

September 25:  Join Calvary’s ISA Certified arborist Mitch Ward as he demonstrates proper tree selection and planting techniques.  We will also dedicate a tree in honor of Br. Don Geiger, who was instrumental in the opening of the St. Kateri preserve.

October 16:  Join local historian Ed Breen, author of “Lucky Eddie: The life, times, and family of Former U.S. Congressman Edward Breen”, as he shares stories of Dayton’s early history.

November 13:  Victorian Angel Tour. Many larger-than-life angel memorials from the Victorian period call Calvary Cemetery home. Guests will hear the stories behind the statues and learn about the families that helped build these testaments to the faith.
