In this tour we will discover more about Dayton’s founding families, their impact on the brewing industry, and their beautiful final resting locations.  During the earliest days of the city many immigrants made their way to Dayton, bringing their traditions, including beer brewing.  Some of these breweries lasted a short while, some lasted for many generations.  However, their stories parallel the foundation of the City of Dayton and are still impactful on our community to this day.   Calvary Cemetery was opened in 1872, recently celebrating its 150th anniversary of serving the Miami Valley.

The walking tour will meet at the St. Henry Chapel rain or shine and last about an hour.  For more information, please call the office at 937-293-1221.
