Join us for Vespers chanted in English on Thursday, October 26, at 6:00-6:30 p.m. at the chapel at Calvary Cemetery. Experience the peaceful echo of the psalms, silence, and candlelight as the sun sets over beautiful St. Henry Chapel. All are welcome. No charge.
What is Vespers? Vespers is part of the centuries-old tradition of the Liturgy of the Hours, which is the daily prayer of the Church. It uses the psalms and other New Testament texts. Morning Prayer (Lauds) and Evening Prayer (Vespers) are the two most important hours.
