The Calvary Cemetery Association and its Board of Trustees is proud to announce that Executive Director Rick Meade has been appointed President of the Catholic Cemeteries of Ohio (CCO) for 2017. The CCO was founded for the purpose of maintaining and advancing best practices for Catholic cemeteries in the six Catholic Dioceses of Ohio through continuing education and networking opportunities. The CCO also works with the Ohio Catholic Conference and Ohio Legislature. According to Meade, “Ultimately all of this helps to support and advance the mission of our beautiful and beloved Calvary Cemetery.”
Throughout his 26 years at Calvary, Rick has overseen the development and growth of the cemetery. While recognizing Rick at a recent board meeting, Board President Bill Frapwell stated, “We have been very fortunate to have Rick Meade as our Executive Director at Calvary Cemetery. He and his staff have maintained our cemetery as a premier cemetery in the area. I am confident that the Catholic Cemeteries of Ohio will benefit from his leadership.” Rick is also a member of the National/ International Catholic Cemetery Conference.
